CVE North America Celebrates New York Portfolio With A Dinner Cruise In NYC

An Event To Remember

Last night, CVE North America had the pleasure of hosting a dinner cruise in New York City to celebrate the  success of its New York Solar Portfolio. The event brought together many of our corporate partners who have played a crucial role in helping us kick off this ambitious portfolio.  

As the Manhattan skyline illuminated the evening, our guests enjoyed an elegant dinner and engaging conversations aboard a cruise ship. The atmosphere was filled with a sense of accomplishment and camaraderie as we acknowledged the milestones reached in our New York Solar Portfolio, which now boasts 73 MW of solar capacity. 

Our New York Solar Portfolio represents a significant stride in our commitment to sustainable energy solutions and the positive impact of community solar projects on the environment and local communities.  

More On Our New York Projects

The CVE New York solar portfolio consists of thirteen projects totaling 73 MW entering construction between 2022 and 2023.The projects are set to participate in the New York Value of Distributed Energy Resources (VDER) program, a mechanism launched by the New York State Energy Research and Development Authority (NYSERDA) to encourage and support energy created by distributed energy resources like solar installations. Under this program, all installations will be community solar projects and help subscribers, especially low to moderate-income households, save money on their utility bills. 

In addition to delivering clean energy locally, the portfolio will provide employment opportunities as well as community and environmental benefits. Once complete, the portfolio will produce enough clean energy per year to power approximately 11,800 homes.
